Educational Trip-2017

Inciting Curiosity | A Remarkable Visit (Grade 1 & 2)

Among the informal yet influential ways of learning is the educational field trips during school life. Such informative yet pleasant outings are a regular feature of AIS academic calendar. Every year, in the second term, every class of the school enjoys visits to museums, parks, historical places or refreshing sights.

Last month a visit to Islamabad Zoo and The Japanese Garden was planned for our Grade 1 and Grade 2 students. The enthusiasm and energy started spurting on the announcement of the trip which continued to remain high till the trip ended.
The day of the visit was thankfully pleasant and mild. The students sought Allah’s blessings for a safe picnic by performing two rakaat nafal before leaving the School premises. Wearing their P-caps and sunglasses, holding their bags tucked with snacks and bottles, they mounted the buses in an organized queue. The buses echoed with the sounds of Nasheeds, Duas and Takbeerat throughout the travel time.

They reached the zoo first and excitedly observed all the animals, sharing their opinions and feelings with their friends.
The next stop was the Japanese Garden where they had lots of fun. They jumped around in the playground for a while and then formed a circle to share their home-made healthy lunch with their peers.
After spending much time in playing and eating, it was time to leave. All the students marched back to their respective buses and set on their way back to school.
Alhamdulillah, it was an amazing fun filled experience which refreshed the young minds before their final exams.

A Food for the Inquisitive Minds (Grade 3 & 4 Educational Trip)

Many times in Qur’an Allah (S.W.T) encourages us to spread on the land, see, explore and get to know about the signs of His grandeur among His miraculous creation. Working on the same lines Alhuda International School arranges educational trips for its students every year.

On 13th April, 2017 Grade 3 & 4 students were all set to discover Allah’s (S.W.T) marvellous creation. With their back-packs laden with lunch and snacks, sun glasses on their faces, P-caps on their heads- they waited for their respective buses in a queue. Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH) was the first sight which opened new horizons of knowledge for our young voyagers. The museum is known for providing informal education about the natural history of the land of Pakistan, including its diversity in living species and its unique combination of soils, forests and mountains.

Later on, they were taken to Rose and Jasmine Garden to freshen them up. They played and had fun with friends and teachers. Sharing their snacks and lunch with others, they fed both their healthy bodies and inquisitive minds.
The disciplinary behaviour of the students was exemplary throughout, which facilitated in the smooth running of the planned trip with lots of fun and moments to cherish, Alhamdulillah.

A Memorable Day Out! (Montessori Section, F-8 Campus)

Just when the spring evolved, leaving cold cosy winter days behind, flowers bloomed in their splendid grace, mesmerizing us with their breath-taking colours, our Montessori students prepared for a well-deserved field trip to The Lake View Park.

4th April 2017 was the day when vibes of excitement oozed from every corner of AIS, F-8 campus. After being gathered in their classes our young students prepared for the trip and received last minute guidelines. Later, they lined up downstairs and embarked on their respective busses.

Echoes of beautiful Duas, nasheeds and poems were heard from each bus. After reaching the destination, although flared up with excitement, our students followed rules to the perfection level. They lined up and walked towards a selected place to have their lunch picnic. They enacted the proverb “Sharing is Caring” to the extent of Ihsan. After filling up their tiny tummies, it was time to play. They streamed into the play areas with excitement and enjoyed all-out. The students were taken to the bird’s aviary also, where they observed many type of birds with different colours, shades, beaks, claws and feathers. Everyone marvelled at the wonderful creation of Allah (S.W.T)

At the departure time, everyone assembled near their respective picnic areas, collected their bags and settled back in the buses. Upon reaching school, the students and staff thanked Allah (S.W.T) for the wonderful and safe trip.

The students then rushed up to their classes, freshened up themselves and were ready to go home with the most adorable smiles, prepared to tell their parents and families about the awesome time they had.
