FSD | Exploring the Anatomy of a Leaf
Observation is an effective tool to maximize learning, especially for younger students. The anatomy of a leaf was taught as part of Culture subject to our Senior Montessori students which was later elaborated with an observational trip to the school garden. Students watched and observed through the magnifying glasses the different parts of leaves. They could easily identify and distinct the midrib, veins, margin, blade and tip of the leaves.
