ISB: Healthy Eating | Vegetable Salad Day
Making healthy choices is a value that we want to instill in our students since their childhood. For this reason we put all our efforts in promoting healthy diet. Working on the same lines our Advanced Montessori students actively participated in their Kitchen Corner Activity of Vegetable Salad Making in October. Children brought vegetables and yogurt from home and they were involved in pealing boiled potatoes, slicing fresh cucumbers, chopping carrots and tomatoes under their teacher’s supervision. They also added some boiled peas, yogurt, salt and black pepper to make their salad tastier. Students actively participated in all steps of the activity. At the end they enjoyed their healthy salad with the yummy yogurt dip and also shared their hand made snack with Aaya bajis and teachers.
