ISB: Teaching Kids How to Make Sandwiches
Feeding and nourishing young children with healthy and nutritious food is a daunting task for all parents. AIS offers a helping hand in this venture and provides guidelines as well as engage its students in healthy food making activities. During the first week of October, our Montessori students (Senior Montessori and Advance Montessori) were involved in a sandwich making activity. Teachers shared the nutritious value of sandwiches and their ingredients to develop interest of the little ones in making and eating fresh toasties. This activity also enhanced the motor skills of the students and taught them the use of blunt knife. They cherished the whole process and enjoyed the self-made sandwiches in the end.
