PEW: Red Color Day
Recognizing the colours and identifying the colour names is an important part of a child’s development. Early identification of colours helps to create the cognitive link between visual clues and words. Realizing its importance, our students of Junior Montessori explored the colour ‘Red’. Special red corners were set up to give them an opportunity to experience this colour daily for an entire week. Students brought red colour objects and participated in the ‘Show and Tell’ activity which not only helped them learn a new colour but also boosted their confidence for public speaking.
