Purposefulness is having a clear focus instead of being unclear or unsure of what one’s doing or why he/she is doing something. To be purposeful means to have a goal/objective in your mind and to concentrate your efforts on achieving it.
Some people live their life without any purpose and therefore just let things happen to them without intending them. A purposeful person, however, makes things happen so that he/she gets closer to achieving his/her goal/objective. Once you are purposeful, then with the help of Allah (swt), you can achieve anything that you set your mind to.
Our purpose in this life is to recognize Our Creator; Allah (swt), to be grateful to Him, to worship Him, to surrender ourselves to Him and to obey the laws that He has ordained for us.
This means that the ‘Worship of Allah (swt)’, is the purpose of our life. Mankind was created for the worship of Allah (swt). Whatever we do in the course of our life (i.e. eating, sleeping, dressing, working, enjoying, etc.) is consequential and subject to Allah (swt)’s orders which are found in the Qur’an and Sunnah. When we obey HIM then we are ultimately worshiping HIM.
Hence, our school’s vision is: “Qur’an for all; In every hand, In every heart”
