Story of Chapati-Making | F-8 Campus
An exciting day for our students was when they put their tiny hands on the flour dough to make Chapatis. The hands-on activity of Chapati making took place in the month of October (F-8 and H-11 Campuses). The Montessori students held the dough balls provided by their teachers, rolled them with the rolling pin and enjoyed their hand-made flat breads with their peers. The purpose of this activity was to instil realization of the innumerable blessings of Allah (S.W.T) and the importance of being grateful. Some children also took home a share for their parents to enjoy their first hand made Roti. Alhamdulillah to Allah- Ar-Razzaq for blessing us with all sorts of yummy food. This activity was planned in relation to the Islamic Studies lesson ‘Allah: Ar-Razzaq – the Provider’.
