World Book and Copyright Day at OUP | Secondary Section
23 April is a symbolic date for world literature and every year it is celebrated as a tribute to books and their authors. This day is named as ‘World Book and Copyright Day’ and it encourages everyone to discover the pleasure of book reading.
Oxford University Press invited students from different schools, including AIS, to design a book cover for their favourite book or make a poster to create awareness regarding Intellectual Property Rights. Ten students from grade V to VIII grabbed this opportunity of visiting the Oxford University Press (Centaurus Mall outlet) and participate in the activity; the posters were later to be displayed in the same outlet. The creative skills and thought provoking content drawn by the AIS students, was highly appreciated by the OUP officials for their aesthetics and originality.
