Be a source of love, strength, and support for your family members as Islam has deemed it an OBLIGATION to maintain family ties.

The importance of safeguarding relationships with relatives is repeatedly mentioned in the Holy Qur’an and various Ahadith.

“Kinship (rahim) is derived from Allah. If anyone maintains ties of kinship Allah maintains ties with him. If anyone cuts them off, Allah cuts him off.” [Al Adab Al Mufrad]

Be kind to your parents.
Be nice to your siblings.
Be caring to your spouse.
Be loving to your children.
Be courteous to your relatives.
