ISB | Student Council Ceremony | H-11

One of the Duas of Ibaad ur Rahman (servants of the Most Merciful) taught in Surah Furqan is: وَاجْعَلْنَا لِلْمُتَّقِينَ إِمَامًا “Make us an Imam (example) for the righteous”, which indicates the importance of leadership skills among Muslims. Aiming to develop leadership in our youth, a Student Council is in place in Secondary Section, H-11 Campus. An exclusive oath taking ceremony to announce this year’s student’s council body was honoured by Raja Zia ul Haq (CEO Youth Club). The criteria behind selection of the students was tough as it based on academic performance, conduct and behaviour, participation and above all the knowledge of Qur’an. The ceremony included inspiring and motivated speeches by the Head Girl and Head Boy. The Branch Head, Maam Aliya Asim reminded the leaders: “To be leaders you have to earn respect, you have to strive for team building, YOU have to be the role model. You must lead by example. Your actions must support your sermons.” We wish our council members the very best. May Allah (S.W.T) keep them steadfast on the right path & guide them in everything that they do.
